New Hampshire Bill Would Allow 2 More Dispensaries to Open

NH

The Senate has passed legislation that would permit two more medical marijuana dispensaries to open in the state. Currently, medical marijuana dispensaries are only located in Dover, Lebanon, Merrimack and Plymouth.

If passed by the House and signed by the governor, the Department of Health and Human Services would be able to license a dispensary to serve those in Cheshire and Sullivan counties, according to New Hampshire Public Radio. An additional dispensary would be permitted to serve the counties of Carroll, Coos and Grafton.

These dispensaries would not be permitted to cultivate or process any medical marijuana products on their sites. They would only be permitted to dispense marijuana to approved medical marijuana patients.
