New Hampshire’s First Medical Marijuana Harvest is Ready

NH Dispensary

Medical marijuana dispensaries are preparing to open in New Hampshire, and one business is already in the packaging phase. Cultivation processes began in January and Sanctuary ATC has about 400 plants in their vegetation room growing. The process of seed-to-sale takes months.

The New Hampshire dispensary will be opening it’s Plymouth location in late April.

Sanctuary ATC’s CEO Jason Sidman said, “This is like a dream come true, because I really believe in this medicine, and I really feel that together we can usher in a new era of health.”

Medical marijuana is made into oil in a lab, as edibles in a commercial kitchen or as dry flower, according to WMUR 9 News. Sanctuary ATC has roughly 12 employees and is authorized to open and operate a dispensary in Plymouth. Local law enforcement officials call this marijuana operation “one of the most secure buildings in the city, and the state has inspected it several times.”

In regards to the security, John Martin of the Bureau of Licensing and Certification said, “This is an incredibly secure building, but the security is invisible. You can’t see it, but it can definitely see you.” Martin added, “These guys are professionals. Their sole interest is making sure they bring the highest quality therapeutic product to their patients.”

Sidman mentioned, in regards to packaging, that, “It’s a child-resistant package. You can’t see what’s inside of it. But there’s a cookie in there that has 10 mg of THC.”
